Happy Valentine's Day!

For the past few years, I've posted a link to high resolution scans of some vintage 1950's Valentine's Day cards that once belonged to a great aunt of mine. People enjoy them, and I hope new followers find them useful this year! They are Creative Commons attribution licensed, so make something fun with them and let me see what you made :)

Masonic pendant

Pardon the lazy snapshot photo!

I made this necklace with the intent to sell it, but I think I may keep it. I used some old copper pieces I found in a box of “vintage” stuff. I don’t know how old the parts are. Epoxy was involved in making this thing happen.

It involves too many elements I like for me to sell it: old jewelry parts, a star burst, and masonic imagery.

Click here to see some high-resolution vintage Valentines from one of my great aunts. Super cute. They are marked as attribution, noncommercial sharealike Creative Commons, so use them for something fun if you like :)

Vintage Valentines

In celebration of the upcoming holiday, I invite you to take a peek at some Valentines that belonged to one of my Great Aunts when she was a little girl. I've scanned them at high resolution with a creative commons attribution liscence (that means you can use them, but please give credit if you do).
