After seeing those rubber o-ring chain maille bracelets earlier today, I couldn't help but try to make one. It was slow going at first, but I managed to figure out a "helm weave" by looking at a completed bracelet.
I
had EXACTLY enough large black rubber o-rings (and some cheapo, kinda
ugly base metal jump rings that were a little too big for the project but OH WELL) to cobble together a really simple
experiment bracelet. Onward to higher quality and better colors!
